Remy Absalon (Commencal) and Anne-Caroline Chausson (Sunn) both won the last enduro marathon race of the year, the Megavalanche on La Reunion Island. This 24.5km race down from the Maïdo summit to the Indian Ocean beach is one of the most challenging of the season. At the end, five Mavic riders were ranked in the top seven. The best time of the day was set by Remy with 44’36” riding at an average speed of 33km/h on the long and technical track over lava rocks and loose terrain.
