13 World Champions on track with Mavic

Australia is back on top in the world of track racing, winning 7 Gold medals in the World Championships in Apeldoorn (NL).
 
In the Netherlands, athletes using Mavic track wheels earned 13 World Champion titles out of 19 possible, contributing to a total count of 36 medals (63% of all medals available), marking a rise of 17% more than in 2010!
 
The new World Record owner in Individual Pursuit, Aussie Jack Bobridge, hammers the discipline again adding a Gold Medal to his trophies list. Another Australian, the young Michael Freiberg impressed everyone winning the Omnium race at the age of 20.
Sarah Hammer (USA) won her fourth world title in Individual Pursuit. Grégory Baugé(FRA) becomes Sprint World champion for the third year running and his team, France, add a sixth line with another World title in Team Sprint.
