Hushovd sprints to win, again!

Norwegian Thor Hushovd continues to amaze his fans and reward his Garmin-Cervélo team with impressive Tour de France stage victories. This time, he took the cold and rainy 163km stage from Paul-Trois-Châteaux to Gap. Hushovd outsprinted Edvald Boasson Hagen (Team Sky) after a leadout from his teammate Ryder Hesjadal.

The stage played out in typical fashion with an early break of 10 riders moving clear. On the final climb, the Cat. 2 Col de Manse, Hesjedal, Hushovd, and Boasson Hagen attacked, exploding the group and moving clear. Hesjedal crested the climb alone, but was joined on the descent and immediately began working for teammate Hushovd. On the final run to the line, Hushovd easily out-kicked Boasson Hagen for his second stage win of this Tour, and his 10th career stage win.

Congratulations to Thor and Garmin-Cervélo who are having an amazingly successful Tour de France!
