World Cup-Val di Sole (ITA)

Marc Beaumont (UK-GT Bicycles) is back on top of the world downhill scene. In Italy, he won the second World Cup series of his career with a perfect run in front of the World's best riders. That same weekend, Mavic sponsored Elite womens downhill rider Emmeline Ragot (FR-Suspension Center) earned the gold medal. and Anneke Beerten (NL-Suspension Center) and Anita Molcik (AUT) finished first and second in the women's elite four cross. On top of this, in the elite XC, second places on the podium went to Julien Absalon (FR-Orbea) and Catharine Prendel (USA-Luna) in men and women's class, while Thomas Slavik took second place in the men's elite four cross
